During these unprecedented times of uncertainty, I think it’s extremely important to come together, serve the community, our neighbors, our industry comrades, and our Acadia family. We are happy to have been able to give back through our “FREE” food markets, cooking for frontline workers, police, National Guard and those in need at both our Chicago flagship and Maine establishments. It made us extremely happy and filled our hearts with pride to see so many people come out and enjoy product from the market, and simply say “thank you.” It has meant the world to us.
But with recent rises in COVID cases, and heavy hearts after 9.5 years of existence, we have decided to temporarily close Acadia in Chicago. The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our priority. We plan to resume indoor dining in the future, once regulations ease, and once we feel it’s safer to do so. We do not know what the future will hold for us or Acadia in its current form. But we promise to do our best to continue to support the industry, employees, neighborhood and our customers to the best of our ability.
May we all persevere through this and look forward to better days ahead! We need to bond together as one, support one another and push forward through such difficult times. Acadia will be back, better than ever. We’ve learned a lot through all of this, and hope we’ll see you back soon too! Your patronage means so much and we couldn’t have persevered without the amazing support of our guests over the years.
Much love, and peace,
